The Rusty Bottom Fig, or Rusty Leaf Fig, is a Ficus very similar in structure to Ficus Benjamina. A big difference is the unique, dappled variegation on Rusty's leaves. Medium/Bright Light to full sun. Water evenly and consistently. Such a pretty tree- often mistaken for the very pricey Ficus Shivereana, this is NOT that plant, but it IS a Rusty Bottom Ficus, and a more affordable substitute! These are rarely found in stores, so if we have them in stock, grab one while you can, because they usually don't stick around!

**Ficus trees are one of the more finicky plants, when it comes to changes in environment, location, temperature, etc. They are known to be dramatic and lose up to half their leaves sometimes, simply from the shock of a change like moving from one place to another. Now, don't get me wrong- they usually bounce back just fine, but it is a rough and scary start for many people that aren't expecting it. Please keep this in mind when ordering this plant to be shipped. This particular species is not as sensitive as many of them, and typically travels well.**
