This rare and beautiful plant is not often found in plant shops. There's been a certain mystique about it, but we don't know why. They are easy enough to grow, and really an incredible looking plant, with it's green, silver and pink coloring. We have a small number of these lovely pipers available in store right now, from our stock plant. These are rooted plants and actively pushing out new growth.
The first photo is of a stock plant, and the following photos are the actual plants for sale.
Pipers are a climbing plant, so putting this on a trellis or a moss pole is a must. They do NOT like bright light, and prefer higher humidity. These plants occasionally develop crystals on the back sides of their leaves, which leads to people often spraying in a panic, thinking that there are pests. These crystals are totally natural and not harmful to the plant.
