Ming Aralia is an impressively ornate tree. The delicate details of their leaves make for an interesting statement plant for the home. They can grow to be over 6 feet tall, although they are a fairly slower growing plant. They, like most larger plants, prefer bright light, but can often adapt to a bit less, if the other conditions are right. East or north facing windows are typically the best for the ming, as the south and west sun's harsh light can be too much for them.
The other conditions important to Ming Aralia are temperature and humidity levels. Coming from India, these plants require a steady warm temperature with slightly higher than normal humidity to thrive. Letting the temp get too cool will cause the tree to shed many of it's leaves. Add supplemental heat during the winter months, as well as humidity when needed. Feed regularly during the growing season, and keep the well draining soil consistently moist.
